Railway explorers riwis have found some more sleepers and sleeper cars in the wake of a $4.5 billion train project that is to start in 2019 and last until 2021.
The explorer and sleeper car owners say they hope to use the equipment to make a few more trips.
The new trains are designed to be a little faster, lighter and cheaper to operate than the older trains.
The first train is due to run in 2021, followed by a second in 2022.
In the meantime, more explorers and sleeper cruisers are being sold for scrap.
Some of them will go on display at the National Railway Museum in Sydney.
The train is a “first-of-its-kind” project that will create jobs and generate revenue for NSW, Queensland and South Australia.
The state has paid more than $2 billion into the rail fund, which has been a major source of revenue for the state.
The rail fund has also helped pay for other projects including the construction of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, which opened in 2021.
It has been funded with a combination of public money and private funding.
The $4 billion rail project, known as the Rail Link, has been expected to open by the end of the decade and will be one of the most ambitious projects in NSW.
