Wild winger Mika Jokipakka has signed a three-season, $9.75-million contract with the Arizona Coyotes.
The 25-year-old centre was the Wild’s No. 2 overall pick in 2012 and the NHL’s top pick in 2014.
He played three seasons in the NHL with the San Jose Sharks and Dallas Stars.
He was a member of the Chicago Blackhawks in 2016-17 and had five goals and 17 points in 49 games with the Blues in 2017-18.
Jokipaka will become the third Wild player in franchise history to sign a three year, $5.5 million contract with Arizona.
Former No. 1 overall pick Jared Spurgeon signed a four-year contract with San Jose last year.
The Wild signed Spurgeon in April 2018 and signed Jokid to a two-year deal last week.
